Prof. Vijaya Sunder M’s research and teaching interests include Operational Excellence, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, among others. He is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, PMP, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Lead Auditor, and Lean Facilitator, with about 15 years of industry experience across global corporations that include Citi, American Express, Barclays and the World Bank. Vijaya has authored two books and published more than 40 research papers in several reputed outlets. Vijaya holds a Ph.D. in Operational Excellence from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, MBA from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and a gold medalist in Bachelor of Engineering from the Anna University.

She also works closely with the central and state governments to explore the impact of technology interventions in areas such as education, healthcare and urbanization. Deepa completed her undergraduate education from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and her graduate education from Carnegie Mellon University. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
